Chamrousse 1650

Before February arrives, I want to share my photos of Chamrousse (right outside of Grenoble) and of my first time skiing! I feel lucky to have started skiing this month: the weather was extremely warm for winter and there were many sunny days. While I skied I was warm AND was getting a tan!

View from the “bunny hill” on my 1st day. See the sea of clouds! It was a clowdy day, but not up here.

So lovely that you had great weather! Perfect conditions for learning to ski. I also learned in Chamrousse but have to say the weather wasnt anywhere near ad nice… in fact I remember crying from the cold on the chair lift, it was something like minus 20…. oh you’ve got my feet itching for some ski action!

Yes it was really an ideal weekend to go skiing, especially since I don’t like the cold weather! I wasn’t expecting such a vitamin D rich experience, and all my freckles came out again as if it was summertime! -20, ouch! It seems, with recent this drop in temp, that it’ll be around there next time I go. Not happy about that, nor do I have the clothes to prepare myself for it. Perhaps I won’t ski so much during the cold months… Although it is fun! I’ll have to face Old Man Winter at some point…

Looks amazing! Shame I didn’t get to see any snow. It’s been 20 degrees here in Hsinchu, it was T shirt weather at Lunch 🙂

      Lucky you. 🙂

Time seems to fly, before ya’ know it it’ll be Spring. So, ‘been trying to enjoy what I can of winter and the snowfall around me, and use this indoor time to make some art! It’s nice to not have gorgeous weather distracting me while I’m trying to paint!
