Journées portes ouvertes à la ferme des Sorbiers – Montchaffrey

Today started out with a visit to Vaulnaveys-le-Haut (above photo).

…and a visit with my donkey friend who actually laughs at my jokes:

Then I stumbled upon the Sorbiers farm in Montchaffrey..

which has its doors open to the public today and tomorrow!

I got to pet the goats and the cows. And a saw the pigs, chickens, sheep and cats!

We purchased a few sausages and a Tome (AKA Tomme) cheese (75% goat milk, 25% cow milk) which were delicious!

So, if you live near Grenoble, love cheese and/or animals, and have nothing to do tomorrow ….

Also, you can find this farm’s products on Mondays at the Uriage market, Wednesdays at the St-Martin d’Uriage market and Fridays at the Vaulnaveys-le-Haut market.
