Une Bonne Adresse sur Paris
Yesterday was my first time dining at Paris New York — finally! I’ve heard of this place for years, back when it had only one location in the 10th (Strasbourg-Saint-Denis). Now there are more locations, including one not too far from my Paris abode, in the Marais. Walking home after gallery-hopping the Saturday openings last night, my boyfriend suggested we pop into one of the more recent locations of PNY, as it was on our way home. In a swanky corner of the Marais — facing the Carreau du Temple — it was refreshing to have access to a budget-friendly restaurant.
(This particular location has an adorable retro 50’s vibe! Definitely the cutest PNY so far! The ambiance, including the music, was definitely on point.)
Burgers + some harder-to-find American bites
PNY‘s burger selection is also on point. You’ve got a lot of variety, from classics to avocado to sriracha to fried chicken to vegetarian to vegan (Beyond Meat & vegan cheddar)! I ordered the first one on the menu, The Cowboy (12,90 €). It is more on the classic side (bacon, cheddar..) but with an onion ring inside! Delicious. I had their classic fries as well, which were good.
I’ve yet to try, but I noticed the menu had some American classics and sides that I’m not used to seeing in France: Jalapeño poppers, wedge salad and loaded fries (which are a bit pricier…)
For dessert: more commonly-found, retro-American classics in the French capital: Cheesecake, chocolate cake & milkshakes
