It’s May 24th and the weather’s warm in Grenoble. Spring has sprung: the flowers have bloomed, the birds are singing, the lizards are hanging out on stone walls and the male pigeons are madly dervishing in an attempt to attract a mate. But at 1670m (5479 ft.), in Charmant Som, pockets of snow facing North impose on the green, sunny landscape and it’s a bit chilly. It’s calm, the cows and the pigs have yet to arrive and it’s very peaceful. Upon observing the large and slightly rocky lawn, one discovers a variety of flowers that are sprouting – and it’s beautiful!
